It's a rainy afternoon so I thought I'd sit and share with you while dinner is cooking. It's just Noah and I tonight since Jeffrey is working. I know I have been a little off these days, actually this past month due to many things. As you all know Noah is mildly autistic so I am continuously having to deal with stupid and ignorant people and beleive it or not it takes its toll on a person. The latest was my stupid neighbours coming over to tell me they find Noah has been going on their land too often. This has been an on-going problem with them since last summer. They told me they have written the dates on their calendar. Now, how stupid is that? Noah is 8 years old and not a threat to anyone bu they fear for their daughters safety. So, after always being diplomatic, I finally told them to just call the police and see what they have to say about an 8 year old on their property. It's really annoying having to deal with such stupid people. Besides dealing with the neighbours, I have also been going through a self-questioning stage about life and where I want to be. I'm not sure I want to continue my work at the preschool anymore although I love to work with children. I guess I am bored with life and ready for some changes but I just don't know where to begin. So, I am somewhat on a very foggy path so to speak right now.
Okay, having said all of this I have some photos I'd like to share with you from my visit with Molly and her family. They spent last weekend with us and we had a great time. :D
Here we are in a small community near my home called North Hatley. From left to right you can see; Noah, me, Jadira being held by Molly and Diego.
We spent some time at a Chocolate Festival in a nearby town so here's Noah in front of a huge cake they were cutting into slices for everyone. It was delicious.
Here are Molly and Jadira making candy jewellery. Yum!
Jadira painting using chocolate.
Here is my Noah Bear painting with chocolate too. He also enjoyed eating it. :D
Noah and I made some candy collages.
Noah and Jeffrey relaxing where there were chocolate vendors.
